Two young men from Madhya Pradesh died in the Delhi building collapse: Katni's Akshat was studying at DU; he had returned after celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Arpit of Dewas.

In the Delhi's Satya Niketan tragedy, two youths from Madhya Pradesh have also lost their lives. Arpit Jaj (21) from Dewas and Akshat Yadav (19) from Katni were students at Delhi University. Arpit Jaj was a resident of Jai Bajrang Nagar near Kailadevi area in Dewas and was pursuing his second year B.Com degree from Delhi University. He had completed his 12th standard education from Central India Academy in Dewas. Meanwhile, Akshat Yadav resided in Dubey Colony in Katni.
