Following the deaths of 36 people due to contaminated water in Bhagirathpura, Indore, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to conduct robotic inspections to investigate the contamination of drinking and sewer lines. The Directorate of Urban Administration and Development has directed all municipal corporations, municipalities, and city councils to inspect their water and sewer pipelines with diameters ranging from 70 to 900 mm. For this purpose, an expert agency from Chennai has been empanelled.
