This time, half of Madhya Pradesh is facing drought-like conditions. In 30 out of 55 districts, the normal rainfall quota has not been met. Among these, there are 11 districts where less than 80% of rainfall was recorded. Alirajpur did not even receive half the expected rainfall. The western part of the state, including Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Narmadapuram, and Gwalior-Chambal divisions, has received up to 12% less rainfall.
