In Madhya Pradesh, amidst preparations for the free registration of 50 lakh properties, a dispute has escalated regarding the role of Patwaris in the ownership scheme. Following the decision to not sign the role of the Patwaris' executor, action has been taken against 48 Patwaris in the state. Among them, 27 have been dismissed and 21 suspended. The biggest action took place in Rewa, where 15 Patwaris were suspended together on Thursday.
