The monsoon season is now 15 days away, but Madhya Pradesh has received only 88% of its expected rainfall. Quotas have not been fulfilled in 37 districts, including Indore and Ujjain-Jabalpur. Only 18 districts, including Bhopal and Gwalior, have exceeded their quota. Alirajpur hasn't even received half the quota of rain, while Niwari has already received 49% more water than expected. According to the IMD (Meteorological Center) Bhopal, there is no forecast for extremely heavy or heavy rainfall anywhere in the state for the next 4 days.
