The quality of the epilepsy medication supplied to government hospitals in Madhya Pradesh has been found to be substandard. The Madhya Pradesh Public Health Services Corporation Limited (MPPHCL) has blacklisted a related firm for two years after one batch of the drug failed. Additionally, two other firms have also been sanctioned a two-year ban for failing to supply deworming medicine on time and allegedly submitting fake documents in the tender for medical equipment.
