Demand for rehabilitation of families affected by NH projects: Jais submits a memorandum to the Collector in Betul, demanding the implementation of the rules of the 2015 notification.

In Betul, Jais leaders submitted a memorandum to Collector Dr. Saurabh Sonawane on Tuesday. The issue raised in the memorandum was the rehabilitation and resettlement of families affected by National Highway projects. Chandrashekhar Dhurve (Raja) and Mahesh Uike of Jais alleged that the established procedure for affected families in the district is not being followed. The memorandum demanded the implementation of the rules of the 2015 notification, which was issued on August 28, 2015 by the Government of India.
