A day before arriving in Madhya Pradesh, Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, targeted the Madhya Pradesh government over the deaths of tribal children in Balaghat, the state of healthcare facilities, and the education system. He stated that more than 30 tribal children have died due to illness, malnutrition, and a lack of basic healthcare facilities, but despite this, action has been slow and the government is sleeping.
