The first TBM 'Narmada' of the Indore Metro has been launched: a TBM equipped with technology capable of lifting more than 1000 tons, marking the beginning of the metro's underground mission.

The underground construction work of the Indore Metro has now entered a crucial phase. The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) successfully launched the first tunnel boring machine (TBM), 'Narmada', into the shaft located at the airport for the underground section. This machine will facilitate the construction of an underground tunnel between the airport and Bada Ganpati. With the launch of the TBM, the work on the Indore Metro's underground corridor has begun.
