In Mandsaur, a 50-year-old man named Parmanand Kathiria, who worked at a dhaba in Garoth on Friday night, fell 8 to 10 feet from an under-construction culvert. The approximately 3.5 feet long rod that landed below him went through his face near the eye and passed behind his ear. Parmanand struggled for about 10 to 15 minutes in a deserted area before being spotted by passersby who took him to the hospital. He was referred to Ratlam Medical College after being treated at Sitamau and Mandsaur.
