Residents take to the streets in protest against the underground metro: A lamp of hope was lit at Bangali Square, a candle march was held, and people said that their nights of sleep had been stolen.

Amidst the expansion of the metro network in Indore, residents of Tilak Nagar, Goyal Nagar, Sainath Colony, and surrounding areas have intensified their opposition to the proposed underground route. On Monday night, a large number of residents gathered at Bangali Chauraha, where they lit a lamp of hope and registered their objection by holding a candle march. During the protest, they tore up copies of the tender and chanted slogans. The residents stated that their opposition is against the metro project.
