The 'King of Guna' arrived with drums and fanfare: thousands of people attended, leading to traffic diversions from the Jaystambh intersection.

The seven-day Ganesh Utsav in Guna will begin on September 14th. Prior to this, the idol of 'Guna's King', Lord Ganesha, was taken to the tableau site with a grand procession on Saturday night. The procession started from Cantt and passed through Station Road before reaching the pandal located in front of Bohra Masjid. Thousands of people gathered on the streets to witness the arrival of the idol. The procession began at around 8 pm on Saturday night, with Indore's Hanumanth Dhwaj leading the way.
