The possibility and crisis in North Bengal's publication

When the topic of potential and challenges in publishing in North Bengal comes up, one is still reminded of Kolkata's College Street, old publishing houses, printing presses, bookstores, distributors, and the Kolkata Book Fair. However, over the past few decades, North Bengal has developed its own readership, writers, publishers, and sales network. It is also true that many authors, researchers, or subjects from North Bengal reach out to publishers in Kolkata. As a result, the question now is not whether there are readers in North Bengal.
