Orchid Tissue Culture Nursery | Rajganj's first orchid tissue culture nursery, reducing dependence on Thailand and targeting the Northeast market.

Purnendu Sarkar, Jalpaiguri: The state's first orchid tissue culture nursery has been launched in Bholanathpara of Sannyasikata gram panchayat in Rajganj block of Jalpaiguri. With government financial assistance and private initiatives, this nursery will produce 10 lakh tissue-cultured orchid saplings per year. In addition to the hilly areas of Darjeeling and Kalimpong, it will also cater to the states of North East India.
