Tea Garden Bonus | Sugabjit Dutta and Ranjit Ghosh, Nagrakata and Siliguri suggest a 20 percent bonus for the tea industry: The Labour Department has issued an advisory to provide a 20 percent bonus rate in all tea gardens this time as well. This directive, signed by Additional Labour Commissioner of North Bengal Amal Majumdar on Monday, has reached all Tea Merchants' Associations. Labor organizations have welcomed this stance of the Labour Department. The owners are not saying anything publicly.
