Kanpur: A contractor seized ₹2 million and threatened people when asked for it, resulting in a police report being filed.

Jitu Sonkar, a resident of Juhi, has filed a report accusing the contractor of embezzling ₹2 million. He stated that his mother-in-law, Rajkumari, retired as a fourth-class employee in the Loco Electric Department of Railways on June 30, 2025.
