Kanpur Rural: FIRs against 237 people, including a former SP MP, for protesting without permission.

The Akbarpur police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against 37 named leaders and workers of the Samajwadi Party (SP), along with approximately 200 unnamed men and women, in connection with the case of rioting outside the Collectorate premises during a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
