In Kanpur, the Central Pollution Control Board's (CPCB) Clean Air Survey 2026 has seen Kanpur's ranking drop by six places to reach 11th position in the country. The city scored 183.2 out of 200 points in the ranking of 48 cities with a population of over 1 million.
