Kanpur: The water level in the Ganges has receded, and people have breathed a sigh of relief after the floodwater receded from Bhopalpurwa village.

After the water was released from Narora, flood-like conditions had recurred in the Katri area of Nawabganj. However, Sunday proved to be a relief for the people of Khayora Katri.
