Kanpur: A high-tension pole was broken due to a collision with a tractor engaged in illegal mining, causing power outages in nine villages and leading to widespread anger among the villagers.

In Kanpur, near the village of Haripur, an uncontrolled, overloaded tractor engaged in illegal mining and transportation of soil collided violently with a high-tension power line pole located on the roadside on the Udaypur-Gugura route in the Sadha police station area late Monday evening.
