Kanpur: Three accused were sent to jail on charges of banned meat smuggling; there was an uproar at Juhi police station regarding the action taken.

In Juhi, two young men on a bike were arrested by the police on Wednesday and sent to jail for allegedly carrying banned meat. They are Arbaaz Qureshi, a resident of Hiramanpurwa in Bekanganj, Mohammad Tauheed alias Aman, a resident of Khalwa on Bajaria Nala Road, and their companion Kalim from Machhriya.
