Kanpur: A young man was arrested and sent to jail for taking a student to convert her religion; Hindu organizations had caught him at the central station.

A young man from another community, who was caught with a ninth-grade student residing in Gujaini at Central Station, was sent to jail on Tuesday for allegedly pressuring her to convert. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Kaif, a resident of Siwan, Bihar.
