Kanpur: Four people, including a woman, were granted bail by the police station in the fake hallmarking case. The jewelry has been sent to the BIS lab for investigation.
The woman who was caught in the case of selling fake hallmark jewelry as genuine has denied being a member of the gang. She says that an acquaintance, Akshay Gupta, gave her the jewelry to pledge, claiming he needed 40,000 rupees.
