Kanpur: A man committed suicide by consuming poison after a dispute with his grandson. He was reportedly hurt due to arguments and physical assault, and his body has been sent for post-mortem examination.

In Kanpur's Ghatampur, an elderly man in Barnav village of the Patara Chowki area consumed poison and died after being heartbroken following a dispute with his grandson. According to reports, Ramswaroop (60), a resident of the village, had an unmarried grandson named Lal Singh who lived near him.
