Kanpur: New labor safety regulations have been implemented in Uttar Pradesh, making appointment letters and health check-ups mandatory.

The Uttar Pradesh government has implemented the new Livelihood Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code-2026 from August 27, 2026. This code is based on the Livelihood, Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code-2020 of the Government of India.
