Kanpur: The airbag didn't open in an accident, resulting in the death of the car owner's son. Now, insurance money will have to be paid with interest.

Considering the failure of the car's airbag deployment in an accident as a deficiency in service, Consumer Commission Chairman Vinod Kumar has ordered RNG Auto Mobiles Pvt. Ltd. to pay the insurance claim amount of ₹636,794 with an eight percent interest rate.
