Kanpur: A body was found submerged in water on the veranda; the artisan had been missing for two days, suspected to have died from electrocution.

In Kanpur, the body of Sanjay alias Lala (32), a painter, was found submerged in the floodwaters on Thursday morning in the veranda of his house in Ujiyaripurwa. He had been living with his mother, Tara Devi, at the house owned by the landlord, Shyam Babu alias Paaji, for about 10 years.
