Kanpur: Ganpati bid farewell with tearful eyes; Ganesh idols immersed in artificial ponds with proper rituals.

The streets of the city echoed with chants of "Ganpati Bappa Morya" on Thursday. Devotees, accompanied by drums and DJ music, set out to immerse Ganesh idols in the river.
