Kanpur: A guard injured by a hammer during a factory robbery has died, and police have sent three accused to jail.

Amar Nath (55), a guard who was injured in a hammer attack by robbers who broke into a chemical factory located in the Panki Industrial Area late Monday night, died during treatment late Tuesday. Police conducted an autopsy of the body on Wednesday.
