Kanpur: Railways emphasizes cargo transportation, sending de-oiled cake to Bangladesh and rice to Silchar, resulting in revenue worth lakhs of rupees.

Along with passengers, the railway is now working to strengthen its hold in freight transportation as well. Three major achievements have been made in loading goods from Kanpur's goods shed. For the first time in four years, corn was loaded into 20 wagons from the central warehouse.
