Kanpur: Angered by his mother's scolding, a son took his own life. The body was found hanging in the room, causing a stir among family members.

Maghavendra Pratap Singh (32), a resident of Ramadevi Shakti Nagar in the Chakeri police station area of Kanpur, India, committed suicide by hanging late Monday night. His father, Jitendra Kumar Singh, stated that his son returned home drunk after consuming alcohol, and his mother, Suman, scolded him.
