Kanpur: A young man was beaten to death by his mother after he came home drunk. The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination.

Ashish Yadav (29), a resident of Goba Garden in Kalyanpur, Kanpur, arrived home late Friday night after drinking alcohol. His mother, Nisha Devi, scolded him for it. The mother expressed her displeasure with his drinking habit and told him not to drink again. This led to an argument between the two.
