Kanpur: A law student's body was found on a railway track, leading to an uproar and her funeral being performed only after the accused was jailed.

In the case of the death of law student Ruchi Pal in Govindnagar, relatives protested fiercely for five hours on Sunday after placing her body. During this time, there was a heated argument with the police as well. The relatives were adamant about conducting the last rites only after arresting and sending the accused to jail.
