Kanpur: BJP and Congress are in direct competition for the Bithoor Nagar Panchayat president by-election.

On Thursday, Congress also announced its candidate for the Bithoor Nagar Panchayat Chairman by-election. Congress Rural District President Sandeep Shukla declared Pradeep Dwivedi as the party's candidate and handed over the symbol to him.
