UP: Gold worth ₹1.72 crore was smuggled in a concealed manner, and the smuggler was caught at Charbagh station after being offloaded from the Vande Bharat train.

At Lucknow's Charbagh railway station, a joint team of DRI and RPF recovered 1.202 kilograms of foreign gold from a passenger arriving on the Vande Bharat Express. The gold is worth approximately ₹1.72 crore. The accused had concealed the gold in a special pocket of the knee cap.
