The Food Safety and Drug Administration Department in UP has taken extensive action against fast food chains, restaurants, and food establishments through widespread inspections and enforcement. In a week-long crackdown, a total of 152 teams inspected 233 establishments in Lucknow, Noida, and Gorakhpur. 163 rectification notices were issued for deficiencies found during the inspection.
