UP: 20,924 kg of adulterated food seized ahead of Navratri, from ghee and sago to spices. In a crackdown conducted by the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department just before the Navratri festival, 20,924 kilograms of adulterated food were seized, worth approximately 66.87 lakhs. A total of 176 food samples have been collected across the state. During this period, the licenses of two were suspended, while a report has been filed against one.
