UP: A mechanical engineer has been arrested for allegedly cheating people out of crores by promising them profits in the stock market and targeting them in this way.

UP: Mechanical engineer arrested for defrauding people of crores by promising profits in the stock market; another accused in the racket has been arrested by the STF from Dehradun. The accused, Vivek Kumar Singh, a resident of Dehradun, holds a BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was found to be involved in a racket that cheated people out of crores of rupees by promising high profits on investments in target stocks and IPOs. The police also seized a laptop, two mobile phones, two SIM cards, and other items from him.
