The Aam Aadmi Party's state in-charge, Sanjay Singh, met with the Panchayat Sahayak (village assistants) who were staging a sit-in protest at Eco Garden in Lucknow and offered his support. He demanded that the honorarium of ₹6,000 be increased to ₹30,000.
