‘Insects in food, dirty utensils’: LU hostellers gherao V-C’s office

Hostellers at Lucknow University's Kailash Hostel gheraoed the vice-chancellor’s office over complaints of insects and hair in food, unclean utensils, and food poisoning, despite previous written grievances to the chief provost and dean. The mess operation was temporarily halted due to health concerns, with fees for affected students to be refunded.
