Young farmer Manpreet Singh was honored by the Chief Minister for adopting diversity and modern techniques in farming, receiving an award for this achievement.

Manpreet Singh, a young farmer from Utad village in Rahim, Firozpur district, has been honored. He received this award as the Ujagar Singh Dhaliwal Award at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) farmers' fair in Ludhiana. Manpreet was given this honor for adopting diversity and modern techniques in farming. Manpreet Singh is the son of Mahendra Singh. After facing numerous challenges, Manpreet decided to take up farming as his primary occupation.
