In Ludhiana, a 16-year-old girl was raped. She was given intoxicating burgers and cold drinks, taken to a hotel where she was sexually assaulted, and then left in the hospital parking lot.

A case of rape has been reported in the Haibowal police station area of Ludhiana, India. Based on a complaint from the victim's family, the police have registered a case against the accused, Rahman Khan, under the POCSO Act and other sections of the BNS (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act. In his statement to the police, the complainant stated that his 16-year-old daughter was friends with the accused, Rahman Khan. The victim told her family that she had been approached by a tailor shop owner in Kundanpuri.
