In the Ludhiana district, near the Mata Chintpurni Temple Road in Jagraon, a road has been dug without a tender and permission. The Municipal Council has clarified that the contractor will have to bear the cost of repairing the dug-up road. Action may be taken against them if it is not repaired. Ashok Kumar, the AMI of the Municipal Council, stated that the road was not tendered, so the payment for the pipes will not be approved. He has instructed the JE to take action against those who have not passed the proposal.
