The Valmiki Samaj blocked Bhandari Bridge for 2 hours, causing traffic chaos on 7 routes due to the police's incorrect route diversion.

Bhaskar News | The Valmiki Samaj staged a protest at Bhandari Bridge in Amritsar and Ludhiana on Friday against the desecration of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's statue. During this time, an effigy of the government was burned. Although the protesters had scheduled a bandh (strike) from 10 am to 1 pm at Bhandari Bridge, they arrived one hour late. At around 11:15 am, the protesters blocked the road by standing in the middle of the bridge. The police responded quickly and closed Bhandari Bridge.
