The body of a woman, estimated to be around 30 years old, was found by the canal on the deserted route from Ludhiana's Lalton towards Kheri. The woman's body has not been identified even after three days since her murder with a sharp weapon is suspected and her body was dumped here. Police have contacted police stations and outposts in surrounding districts of Punjab to identify her. Now, the police are preparing posters of the woman and planning to put them up in nearby areas.
