Relief for Sidhu Moosewala's manager's parents: High Court orders investigation into 3 FIRs at the DIG level, rejects demand for CBI-SIT.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the appointment of a senior IPS officer to monitor the three FIRs registered in Ludhiana against Shaganpreet, the manager of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Justice Manisha Batra stated in her order that the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, should ensure that the investigation into FIR numbers 67, 90, and 101 is conducted under the supervision of a senior IPS officer who is not directly involved in the investigation and has a rank equivalent to Deputy Inspector General.
