In the Shimlapuri area of Ludhiana, India, a gym operator was attacked by three miscreants while returning home on his motorcycle. The attackers surrounded the young man and assaulted him with a kirpan and teeth, beating him severely before stealing his gold chain from around his neck and cash from his pocket, and then fleeing. One of the attackers also stabbed the gym operator in the eye, causing two stitches to be made. Based on the complaint, the Shimlapuri police have registered a case against three unidentified accused.
