Fraud of ₹4 million in the name of sending to America: A young man from Ludhiana was taken to many countries including Cambodia and stayed in a refugee camp for 10 months.

In Ludhiana, a young man was defrauded of ₹40 lakh in the name of sending him to America. Gurdeep Singh, a resident of Sukhdev Nagar in Jamalpur, filed a complaint with the police alleging that an agent took lakhs of rupees from him under the pretext of sending him to America. He was then taken to several countries, including Cambodia. After reaching America, he stayed at a refugee camp in Texas for about 10 months. Finally, on June 25, 2025, he was deported and sent back to India.
