As the Ludhiana festival season approaches, the police have gone into full action mode. Special checking drives are being conducted in the city and surrounding areas based on the guidelines of the Commissioner of Police (CP). During this time, every vehicle entering or exiting is being thoroughly checked at checkpoints, along with verification of tenants, to ensure the safety and peace of the general public. Checkpoints have been set up at 5 locations, with 3 teams deployed for this purpose.
