The deceased woman's husband has accused an employee at the emergency department of taking 5,000 rupees in exchange for treatment and cremation services at the civil hospital. The victim's husband filed a complaint with the SMO (Sub-Divisional Medical Officer). The SMO has ordered an investigation into the entire matter. The victim's husband, Uday Kumar, originally hails from Bihar and currently resides in Dashmesh Nagar, Ludhiana. He stated that his wife was ill and unable to cook.
